Any of our community have any new purchases today at the Putnam auction in Woodland, Ca. today? Nice Cat Diesel Fifty narrow gauge and a few Thirty project tractors along with D6-9U, D7-17a, D7-3T.

My wife is pleased that I did not know about this until today! Some real deals there!

I didn’t bid on anything (for once). The turbo 9U would have been nice to have; the D7E went pretty cheap IMO. One item that went insanely high (again, my opinion for what it’s worth) was an IH Unibeam drag disk. Apparently someone wanted one enough to pay over $10,000. Wondered if it was unique because of its size? I’m not knocking whoever bought it, but a Towner or AC would have been had for roughly 5k....
I like the internet bidding that they offer now.
Steeltracs: you still haven’t told me what I am supposed to pickup and deliver to you from that sale!
Putman’s will have another sale this month. I need to get back in the “buy mode” LOL.
***Anyone here needing help with hauling of items at any auctions from N. California, we can help. Just PM me or landline. JM

I had a nagging dream about a gal named Rebecca................she kept taunting me and all I remember was bye bye or was it buy buy? As many of you know, I’m luckier at auctions than my personal life!

JM,
If I would have known about it, that 1981 GMC roll-back bed with hydraulic crane truck would have been on your list to pick up for me. It sold for only $3 grand! I'm jealous of whoever bought it. My FIFTEEN and TWENTY would have fit on it just fine to ride to shows. Plus a crane to service my D8. Wow!

It looks like today is the day "Rebecca" choses who she will dance with. Only a few hours left.

Hi, Juiceman.
If you put Rebecca on that town block you just recently plowed, you'd only hafta turn her around twice and the whole block would be churned up. Then you'd hafta move her out to be able to plant anything. LOL

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Glad to know someone I knew got something. Looks like Skinner still had room on the upper deck! Nice light load. I wanted to test the bid button on the Fifty, good thing I didn’t, as I would have been stuck with it( I didn’t do it John Perusina).
If I was a dirt moving cable guy, I would have bid on the carry all scraper. It seemed to have sold reasonably inexpensive. Oh well, next time! JM

Got the 30 with no tracks & the fordson on rubber for some reason I still haven’t figured out lol. Also dad got the 6G 30. Looks like it will be a good project; seems like everything’s there on it.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
