At a recent truck show I took a detour through the Caterpillar Museum at Antique Powerland and took some photos of many of the machines in the museums collection. To save time I have them uploaded to smugmug. Someday I will go spend a day there with the camera and upload a lot more.

Paul,

That is a prototype D6 (one of a kind) but I do not remember why it was built or how it came to be at the museum. I don't know what the orange device is hanging from the other one. Also, you can just see a bit of a military 4T which has inside push arms on a cable blade as I remember. I have only seen one other which is part of the HCEA collection back in Bowling Green.

Thanks for posting the pictures kblack.

Hey Team,

I did a visit recently. My Lady refused to go inside the Museum as She didn't want to steal the show, so She just stayed outside... even there she felt a dominating appearance couldn't be avoided...
