I was just trying to look up the contact information for an ACMOC vendor who advertises in the Magazine and wondered if ACMOC posts the quarterly vendors on the BB. I believe the answer is no. I was wondering for a quarterly magazine why could at the time the magazine is going to press could an ACMOC admin not post all of the vendor paid advertisements for that issue to the BB? This would be refreshed only four times a year and it would help the vendor base reach more AMOC members and occassional Cat collectors who hit the BB.

An interesting question. There are several considerations to be made and none have been presented for discussion to the committe. My first inclination would be that the advertisers pay for the space in the magazine. As such, it does not include ad space on the forum. Maybe a plan should be presented to create an option whereby a magazine advertiser can spend a little more and have their ad posted on the website. The down side to that is the increased costs to reformat the forum each ad cycle to accomodate the new vendors. Keep in mind that the administrators and moderators are volunteers with the exception of the staff members who also have admin privledges. If we extract each advertiser from each issue (6, not 4) and post them, it would fall upon the volunteers to do such a task. Also keep in mind that in the past, users of the site were not overwhelmingly in support of placing ads within the forum. Nonetheless, your suggestion is one worth discussing at our next committee meeting.
