:confused2: in my opinion. if you were to purchase in not running but thought it could be easily started 1500.00. if he lets you start it and run it before you buy it i would say 5000.00

the guy is an older fellow about 78 years old

i think hes just getting rid of stuff hes not going to use i got a hay trailer from him today going to pick it up in the morning

i have a 933f track loader its a pretty strong machine . im getting familiar with the cats and i like them ,the older ones alot

its gointg to take 2 big batterys and a lowboy to get it to the house ,ill start out at 1500 not running and see where that goes

of coarse i have to get it to run to get up on the lowboy lol
.the oil looked nice and black but was not sticky .dripped off the stick when i checked it and was full with no water in it

how much does this cat weigh in at 40k ?

i hope he wants to sell it cheap cause i got the yellow fever

That's an early model with D6 undercarriage (later ones went to D7). Basic weight about 32,000 lbs.

:confused2: in my 1500 dollar initial price i estimated to be 20 ton and then just went with what i could break even on scrap if it didn't pan out and i was stuck with it. the latter price was if i could get it home and even if it didn't pan out i could sell the tracks and engine, cylinders and some other stuff before i scrapped the rest. "harsh i know"

hey thanks for your estimate captainhowdy
i really did not know how to price it , i was also thinking around 5k in good operating condition
but since its been sitting for 20 years im sure ill have to fix something on it
i just hope its not locked up and i can get some use out of it if he agrees to my offer.

on the tracks and final drive are the d7 much bigger sprockets or are they heavy build like the one on my 933 trackloader a solid sprocket?

Still a spoked sprocket but changes from 6.75 or 6.91 pitch to 8" pitch with the D7 undercarriage.

Usual location, upper LH corner rear of the steering clutch housing and left rear of the engine about behind the magneto.
