Hello, Guys

It’s been quite some time since if posted anything on here.

I am looking at a 950 wheel loader (S/N 58H504) and was hoping for some information?

Year? Shipping weight? HP? Engine? Common problems?

Also someone over the years has modified the outer boom arms & control rods.

I was looking for parts breakdown of the boom? So I can try to find the factory correct parts.

Thanks

Operating weight should be about 28,000-29,000 pounds. Engine would be a 3304 and about 130HP. I guess the major weak point in my opinion is the air over hydraulic brake system. Also, a lot of these loaders are old enough now that if the air system hasn't been kept up, then there will be some issues showing up with that. I know the two major problems we usually have with our 81J is the brake system and the air system. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 58H was the first prefix built in Canada. I think Canada started production of 950s in 1965 so I would imagine yours is a year or two newer than that.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
