Hello All
The compressor on my 944 stopped working and upon disassembly I found the inlet valve springs broken and the outlet valve springs have lost tension. Valves themselves look fine. The compressor is an air cooled Bendix Tu-flow 300 which are discontinued and parts are non existent from Cat.Bendix don't even list them anymore.
Has anyone had this issue before and found a workaround? I have heard some say to replace it with a Tu-flow 400 but I think it has a longer housing than the 300.

Regards

Phil

could the valve springs be the same in the later model pump? although without a parts list it would be hard to tell. if you could find the spec sheet for the parts for the later unit you could atleast compare to the old parts. it might be a way of getting your working again.

First thing I checked.Totally different. Different springs, different valves.

bugger. does the spec sheet give dimensions of the whole unit you coul at least see if it would clear before shelling out the folding stuff on a pump.
