Sam, your attention to detail is right to the point. Only an engineer would be able to fine tune the restoration to the point that you also manage to post the beautiful pictures on the bulletin board at 9:33. π π Don't try to tell me this was a mere coincidence. I don't have an 11A parts book nearby, but I'd imagine that the winch controls are factory-correct? I'd really like to see a close up of that detail. I know from climbing in and out of the cockpit today, those levers could be a real killer (I don't have them but it's a real tight fit without them).

I'll try to get a couple better shots of the winch controls. They are on the outside of the cockpit, and actually give a bit of a handle when climbing up. I just picked up the winch cable yesterday, so will be spooling her up this weekend to see what we can pull!! I've got a couple of slight modifications to add...I'm going to put a Westendorf loader quick coupler on it so I can use my forks and crane arm. They're pin-on, and should look nice when I'm finished.
