Needing to know the proper full level on Cat. #46 hydro pump unit. This is on my D6 9u running only the factory blade. Gone through my Servicemen's Reference book form FEO12914-02 and not finding a proper operating oil level. Any of you help out?

Thank, Wendell

Info is in the "Operation & Maintenance Instructions" manual.
Form #31507-1

"Oil should be up to the top of the oil strainer" (When oil is warm)

Thanks Old Magnet,

Problem fixed, Old girl came on to having lift issue. Topped it off and was a go.

Did learn through the studying of form FE012914-02, that over filling the unit can crack/break a tank.

Thanks again,
Wendell

Yes, need some air cushion space and sealed cap to avoid hydraulic shock which can do some severe damage.
