Hello All
I need to tow an air braked dog trailer with my 955L so I need to fit a compressor to the engine. According to SIS a compressor with the mount shown below should fit

But looking at the mount on the engine it looks like this one;

Is SIS wrong or is there an adapter plate? I could not find any mention of an adapter plate in either the engine parts manual or on SIS. Engine is a 3304DI 83Z0704.

Regards

Phil

I looked through all my Engine stuff, Tractor and Industrial Engines and what I did find was all two large bolts and three small bolt mountings, no adapters.
Maybe look into the truck applications??

I am thinking that the top yellow picture is a generic digital image which is inaccurate. I came up with the same image looking for a compressor for a 130G grader on Cat parts, but google search of the same part numbers finds compressor as in your lower black image

Look at the 120G motor grader application. It'll have a compressor setup on it.

Thanks everyone for your help.
D8Dude you are spot on. 7E-6807 is the part number for the compressor and doing a search on ebay for that part number show 4 matches and all have the two 5/8 holes and three 3/8 holes type flange.
