2blujohn,
Wanted me to post a picture or two of his greative generator/alternator that he cooked up for one of his d2's.
He told me that the alternator that he used needed only 800 rpm to excite.
He put a meter on it and the way that it is geared exceeded that number.
The numbers he hold me have long ago evaded my 54 year old memory.
Anyway,I guess it works well.
The thing that I liked about it was the design was really quite simple.
Makes me wonder why I didn't think of that.
He did mention that he was going to sale this one ???????
I have no idea what he wants for it,but if you need one you might pm him .
