My orchard 30 has a spring seat.The bolts in the plate cover are 5/8 bolts on my top seat tractors.Same bolts would hold bracket for the tail seat.My tail seat bolts are 5/16.not strong enough to hold the bracket.So,is my spring seat original?That is the Question.Even earlier best 30 that i have seen use the 5/8 bolts.This tractor came from the Michigan sale in june.S 4455 is the sn.Paint color is red.It might have been a township/county machine..

I think that someone was looking for a bit more of an easier ride and added that seat. I have S4647 and it had the S140 seat bracket on it when I got it

Thanks Naylorbros,I don’t see the s140 seat bracket working with 5/16 bolts holding it in place.I am hoping someone with a older machine jumping in with the same arrangement.thanks agian
