ok here’s my sad story.
And let me state at the beginning I examined the photos of the tractor and all was as described.
I found a Gilsonite Riecke D4 on eBay. No box and some paint damage but my plan all along was to display it.
I received a box from the post office that was well taped and by the looks all was well
opened the box and immediately could see the right track was off. The front idler was broken off and that let the track down. The blade was broken off of the trunnion.
After contacting the seller with photos he didn’t hesitate to return my money.
So now my question is can it be repaired? Is there a builder who might be able to do the repairs?
Even if it’s not perfect it would be worth it just for me to display.

Rather unfortunate, the only person I can think of is Dave Tallon. He does some of his own custom model stuff, he may be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction.
You should be able to get his contact info from the members directory.
Cheers

There is a customizer on the west coast by the name of Calvin Bensch who has performed custom work for the club over the years. PM me for contact info.

you could use a clear epoxy adhesive to join the parts and very fine drills and piano wire to make dowels to help strengthen the joint.

A little E6000 and piano wire. And turn it just the right angle for photos
