Well bummer, I was bulldozing away, and I must of had a stick wack and break my pony motor fuel filter bowl/jar. I'm looking for a replacement, or a source to get one. It doesn't need to be an original piece. Right now I'm stuck dead in the water till I get a replacement. See picture. (I know I'm probably asking for the head piece to the staff of Ra, but its worth a shot)

here is picture of missing glass jar

here is a picture with it still intact.

I've got an extra filter element, so I am good there. Just need the bowl. I'd also take any quick fix ideas too. I already checked with Cat dealer and part is discontinued.

Cat has a replacement all metal no glass to break. The first one I got has to be over 25 years ago, had it off a year or 2 ago just starting to rust a bit. But needed one and Cat still had them in the system along with the gaskets then. Don't remember the price so must no of been highway robbery price.

Hi Team,
seen plenty made from length of copper pipe with welsh plug or copper/brass plate silver soldered over the open end of the pipe section.
Saw plenty of old glass medicine bottles used too--all colours--farmers here are very inventive to keep 'er goin'

Cheers,
Eddie B.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
