Are they the same as 9u D6 used or are they different? Part number for D6 is 4f6525.

I believe they are different. Grader was set up similar to the D318 stationary engine with a different pump and oil pan. Dozer was different to account for slopes and inclines. I could be wrong, however this was my understanding.

Serial # 8t10111, I think the earlier model 9U will work. Correct me if I am wrong? Prob. not because of the mounting to the differential.

The oil pans are not the same.
The early 8T uses a 4F7084.
The early 9U uses a 4F6525

Hi RWhite,

There is a chance I might have one. Is there a way you can upload a pic of your pan? If not I can check on the d318 parts engine I have to see if the oil pan part number matches one of the numbers supplied by old magnet/gemdozer. -not sure if my engine was from a dozer or a grader.
I'm located in south central Missouri, bad news is that I'll be away on a job for a couple weeks.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
