I need a throttle rod assembly for a 1945 D-4 pony motor. All I currently have is the linkage from the carb to the governor. Makes it a pain to operate the throttle 😆 I also could use the choke knob if anyone has a spare.

Do not know how this works, my first usage of the site. The mount that holds the linkage near the knobs has 8B3978 cast in it.

I'll check the number on mine to see if it is the same and get back to you, thanks

I never heard back from cabernet so I am still looking for a throttle rod assembly and choke knob for the pony motor. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Since I've not had any luck finding a throttle rod, does anyone know of a dealer or salvage yard that might have one in stock? Can anyone post a photo of the rod? There is a slim chance it might still be around but I'm not sure what I am looking for. Thanks

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
