TWO Caterpillar D8 Dozers for sale $8500 and $6000.

Take your pick or take both. If you buy both we can talk price.

1952 D8-2u everything works. Hook your jumper cables up to the pony motor starter, flip a lever, and the gasoline pony motor starts every time. It runs good and has never given me any problems. Flip two more levers to start the diesel engine. Diesel engine runs great and the oil was changed 50 hours ago. I have extra steering clutches and rollers. It has five forward gears and three reverse gears. When in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear there is a reverser than allows you to change direction. 4th and 5th are only forward gears. It does a lot better on fuel than I expected, the diesel only turns 1k rpm at full throttle! $8000

1953 D8-2u - 1st and 2nd forward gears are not working. It has an amazing set of tracks, bushings, idlers. Sprockets are not as new. This machine has had the pony motor removed and has electric start to fire up the diesel. $275 worth of new batteries in September of 2014. This is not a cheap conversion to make. The cutting edges on the blade are very good. I have been told the undercarriage on this machine would be $12000 if you purchased it new. I want $6000 for the whole machine.

Blades are interchangeable 11 feet 6 inches wide and can be hauled on a gooseneck trailer if you want. The one with the brush guard came with the 1953 model.

I know people who can haul these machines or you can find your own transport.

These machines weigh 50k each and should bring close to $4000 each for scrap.

First 9 pictures are of the 1952 model.

Located in Southwest Missouri.

I'm not on here daily, so be patient with me. I will get back with you.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
