Gee, it looks like from a discussion years ago on here that it fits then RD6 from 2H1 to 2H3247 after that on that series was no longer used, also in that discussion someone said that the D4 was 2 3/4 also, none of which I know personally, a friend of mine had it in a shed her dad had a bunch of stuff in that was the only Cat part we found

Part of the discussion:
1B5773 wrench was used in some Cat tool kits until mid 1937 going by the serial number breakdowns. So it makes sense that it would've been used on the Forty, Diesel Forty, and RD6 as they were basically the same machine. Possibly even on the Thirty Five and Diesel Thirty Five too, but I don't have the books on those models to verify for sure.

I’ll measure one of my D4s adjusters. I can’t remember if 2 3/4” or 2 7/8”. If it’s for a D4, I’d like it please.
Thanks.

D4 track adjuster wrench is 2-3/4" but neither the straight jaw or angle jaw versions have that bend in the handle.

Nope. PM your mailing address, so I may send you a check. You can hand the wrench to Dennis or ShaNayNay, and I can get it from one of them later.
***I have a straight version of the track wrench, the bent or offset is better I think. I modified a water pump wrench for a D8 2U ( I know, wrong tool) to spin those adjuster nuts when they are loose***
Thank you Aaron. JM

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
