George Logue auction site - Williamsport, PA

We purchased a 14AD8 that was inoperable & was not sold in the auction - missing the motor.
A week later I returned with 2 trucks from 8 hours away only to find that the tractor had parts stolen off of it! The tractor was complete just missing the motor, but not anymore!

Stolen Items Include:
Hood

Dash Board

Exhaust manifold

Intake manifold

Air cleaner extension

This tractor was not purchased to junk, it was purchased to fix and use!

With the amount of money it takes to save this equipment so it doesn't go to scrap, its a real shame that things like this happen. Especially around people that share the same interest as you do. We all invest our money and time into these machines for enjoyment not necessarily just for a dollar or a profit.

I hope that every time the person who took these items off this tractor - looks at them or uses them or possibly even sells them - knows that their deal paid off for them by stealing.

If anyone has information about this or if the person who took the items wants to return them, please contact me.

Doug, I am sorry to hear of the loss of parts from the machine. I bet there were folks trolling waiting to see what was left behind. I hope that somebody can give you some leads to the culprits. Were you able to file a police report? It's doubtful that it will do any good, but at least you have the report if you want to file it as a loss on your 2013 income tax report. Good luck and sorry.
