Thanks so much for the offer, but fortunately he found both of those on e-bay...just can't seem to locate the 'Servicemen's Reference Book'

Well that would be a good reason why I can't find one! Does anyone else know this as fact?

Seems strange that Caterpillar DIDN'T publish one. :confused2:

There was a book published as a compilation for the older models, that with the parts book must have been deemed enough for a mechanic. I also like more specific information, plus they are interesting reading material.

Tom, that is correct that there isn't a serviceman's reference for the Twenty-Two however I understand that there is one for one of the Twentys, whichever one is most like the TT, for the chassis/trans and that the engine is similar to the R2 and that reference works. Hopefully someone can provide some verification or edits to this info. How's Charlie going with it so far? Talking smack down at the bar with one foot up on the rail yet? : )

Thanks Neil...Seems very strange to me, but I guess if they're close enough to the Twenty, Cat must have figured no need to be redundant.
Can anyone tell me which twenty manual we should be looking for instead?

Thanks,
