Deluxe or cheap?

John Hahn makes a very good restoration seat.I believe his contact information is in the stickies at the top of discussion page.

You want something better than a block of wood but cheap make it.
Plywood scrap used foam from a couch, canvas or vinal, and a staple gun.

I bought a piece of plywood locally (I think 3/4") then boat vinyl and high density foam off ebay and just made mine. Not real fancy but cheap. Cutting foam with an electric knife is the easiest and just fold up the vinyl like a Christmas present and staple.
