um let me show my ignorance here .... I'm quit sure that the pony was phased out for the No.12 model starting at 8T 1955 then 99E and 80C were Direct Electric Start so by 1970's pony motors were not a thing. Just asking

Pilot motors were still available in 12E graders in Australia into the early sixties, I think they could be optioned even after direct starting was the norm.

That's no 70's machine!!!! That's a D318 engine last produced 1959.

I got the guy to send me some pictures. Tag says 8T4372. Not sure where that tag is. So now I've told you MORE than I know about it!!
