I have an old 8U series dozer with a 2 cylinder pony motor. The magneto is dead. Does anyone have a magneto that would work. The model is a Bosch
Mjk-4/2-3600-410. Or does anyone have a way to put a starter in place of the pony motor? It does not have the starter plate on the motor. I have talked to someone who used to have the stuff but I believe he has gone out of business. Thanks in advance.

Why not have the magneto repaired, if you use the search function you will find a few recommendations from other members that have had it done.

They will ship in a medium USPS flat rate box

Thanks. I found a place locally that repaired it. Funny thing was I think several years ago when I took it by he told me he couldn't. Thanks for all the replies.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
