Central Nebraska and I haven't even had a chance to look around here yet just got it home Monday had to go 1000miles one way to pick it up was wondering wouldn't the side panels and temp gauge be same as d2 of that same series

Be careful getting Engines side Panels ,there a couple Types, I think left side [from behind ] is same but right side are different ,Temp gauge is available from Cat still [ 6B6792 , will upgrade to a new Number ], 2" with a 2 1/2" Bezel . The Bonnet attaching Clamps are easily made , need 1/4 steel bar cut 2' x1 3/4 and drill and tap 3/8 " UNF hole and use 1' Bolt with washers and 4 Off You then need to put a small "Roundness" in them so they slide under lip on Fuel Tank . Bonnet for those is a little more difficult to make , But you should find a s/h one with luck . Toolbox I believe is still available from Cat .Strongly suggest You get a Parts book on Flea bay or Cat will still supply I think .R2's are a great little machine , so good luck with yours LJ

Do you have a choke rod, that goes from bottom of carb to front?
Now for the tough stuff, how about a ring gear & starter as long as I am wishing.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
