That looks like the one I have on my 5U13753, although it didn't originally have a PTO so whether the PTO arrangement is early or late I couldn't say
Thank you Neil and Josh for your responses. Attached is a picture of the “old” lever (7B9383) on my late model 5U14421, i dont have pto box on yet so i cant verify engagement but the lever has little throw. I have the seat adjusted all the way back, it would be much worse with the seat forward, the lever could hardly move at all, i think that is why cat came up with a different lever. Neil, your 13,753 would be a late model and require the lever im looking for. Im wondering what the part number is on it, could you take a couple pictures of it?![]()
Does anybody have a picture or video of a late model d2 pto engagement lever? 3H6195
I picked up this PTO from Wally (brewzer) if I recall correctly, so it's not original equipment on the 5U. You can see the angle between engaged and disengaged - it's not much. Also, the rod to the PTO gearbox is adjustable if I recall correctly, and even if it's not, you could make it adjustable to get your ideal fit - a 3/8NF bolt and yoke ( or just thread the rod after cutting off the rod)

I Have one of those earlier levers on a late model as well. They can be tricky to adjust because the lever hits the bottom of the seat and sometimes comes disengaged when brush hogging. It looks like your seat is setup higher with lots of room Neil.
Yes, I have the 3" channel under the seat and set all the way back, in preparation for installing the winch. Another "I'll have to get around to it" jobs....
Thank you Neil for the pictures and information. That is really helpful. Im going to use what i have and modify the linkage like you suggested or worst case cut and weld the lever if needed. Going to resist modifying the seat base. But you got me thinking about the 3” channel under the seat for winch clearance. That is not a bad idea as it would give a little more leg room and more room for the pto lever. Have you operated it like that? Wondering how it compares to standard height.
