How goes it? I finally purchased a runs drives and kinda operational motor grader. It's SN:3U4549 I am told it is a 1953 #112 grader with D315 (4- cyl) engine. As I need to use this machine in spring, service this machine and fix this machine, with zero previous experience in or on this machine, I am looking for and interested in all manuals, (operator service and repair manuals even parts) specific to this machine. If someone has some or all for sale I am interested! Thanks much!

I ran across a lube and maintenance book today and will look again tomorrow for the parts book and a 315 engine book as I am quite sure I have these books. I don't think there is a grader service manual. I looked for a 212 grader service manual and found out they didn't make one. turns out you need a #12 grader service manual for the 3U and I think I have that one too. I will dig them out and post pics and prices soon. Charlie

I would appreciate it. I'm looking for anything I can find on this machine. I did get a parts book with the 12 I bought but being a decade older I have no clue how much is the same. I know right away I will put the hydro boost steering on this one from the 12 hopefully it's an easy bolt on. and If the control box is the same I need parts for the blade rotate ASAP. The blade rotate control you push like you are giving birth and it tries to kick out and grinds. Played enough with old stuff to know it's fool hardy to attempt repairs without manuals. Pull out bolt A and have ball Ball b followed by spring C ricochet of your forehead then into the great beyond. lol...
