For sale is a Caterpillar Model 15 Trailer Patrol Grader. I think it was made in the early 30's. I couldn't find a serial number break down to tell me the exact year it was made. Serial number is C148. Everything is free on it and the cutting edge is in good condition. The wheels that raise and lower the blade turn easily. The rear axle moves side to side with the axle adjuster and the blade pivots for different angles. The linkage that raises and lowers the blade has been modified and shortened up and moved to the center of the grader. The linkages originally attached to the rear of the tractor the way it shows in some of the pictures I looked at. I don't have any of the original linkages that attach to the tractor. I purchased it this way. It looks like it could have been a hand controlled model or a power control model. I will include a couple of pictures of the way it should have been equipped originally. It's been converted to rubber. It's had some welding and repairs done to it over the years. It's useable the way it is and should be ready to go to work. $2000.00 or make an offer. Located in northeast Iowa. Call me at 563-379-1456 if you have any questions.

Pretty well modified; Replaces wheels with tires so that's not original. How would you operate the blade from a machine?? Tool box over rear axel is missing. We will have a picture of our Chapter One's RD 6 and 15 trailer patrol in next issue. Bill Walter

I'm sure a person could rig up something to run this machine from a tractor. All a person would would to do is extend them up to the back of the tractor and put some u-joints in if needed. Could also be done hydraulic motors or maybe electrical motors.

Go for electric= Lecaterpillar turnover grader. I'm sure it will make an interesting project for someone, and I look forward to reading about it.

Would anyone be interested in this grader for $1500? Would be a nice addition to someone's collection and look nice behind someone's CAT tractor. Feel free to call me at 563-379-1456 with any questions.
