It is with great sadness that I must sell my collection. I have had some health problems that prohibit me from any item of heavy lifting.
Here are a few photos, I have more. I would like to sell as a lot, priced to sell at only $3500.00 for all. Located in middle Tennessee.
1936 RD4 has a 1937 7J engine complete and separate with NEW injectors and direct electric start.
1944 D42T good under carriage, it ran but needs refreshing.
I have a couple tons of parts, this was my retirement project...
2 radiator cores, 2 belly pans, 4 engine blocks, 1 has new liners, new set of steering clutches, and more than I think of at the moment.
Contact information: Bob Reed 615 566-1980 text or call; 615 895-1440 please leave a message if calling, it takes me awhile to get to the phone. Thank you

BReed-sorry your health has curbed your plans-your machines at another time would be real tempting, location is reasonable. Curious what your serial number is on the 2T.

Best to you on finding another project(s) to take their place.

Keep safe-

Hey Bernie, I thank you for your concern. I went out and got the serial number for the 2T.
It is 2T 9510 WS on the engine block, but where it is on the left rear seems to have eluded my memory. I couldn’t find it… I do believe that it matches though.

Thank you Bernie ! Very kind.
Perhaps I have this litter of kittens priced too high? I would be open to offers, but thought that I was being reasonable.

Hi Bob,
You know if that set up is LaPlant Choate or LeTourneau?

Good morning Deebo,
I am quite certain that it’s a LeTourneau. I also have the literature for the cable control unit and it all matches up.
I have several books for these machines that go with the dozers, as well.

I think your price is probably fine Bob, especially if one of them runs and steers. Problem is that there needs to be buyers. Might not be a lot of people looking at this time of year. You might want to also post on other mediums such as ebay and marketplace to cast a wider net.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
