Looking for D4D for sale for use on family farm in central Illinois. Light farm work repairing field dry damns and very light brush work. Would appreciate any leads.

The one I have is a D4D 22C. Built in 1967. I got it from a farmer retirement auction. Direct elec start, power shift, 8'6" hyd 4 way dozer blade. Also has 3 shank hyd ripper (with shanks). Unit starts, runs and operates as it should. It's work ready.
Located in Nebraska panhandle on I-80. 330 miles west of Omaha, Ne. Give me a call if interested. Thanks. 308-289-5881

You would need to provide hauling.

Thanks Tim. Apologies for the slow response. Sounds like a great machine. This will get very limited usage on our farm, so you likely have more machine than I can justify. Would you want to shoot a few pictures and idea of your asking price? Of course haul mileage is not insignificant as well. Thanks again - Mike

Tim, I am back in the hunt for a farm dozer and still thinking a D4D fits the bill. Do you still have the dozer and are you looking to sell? If yes, any further comments on condition, history or hours? I don’t have any idea of paperwork bring this in the US either! I’d like to get a trucking quote to start... do you have weight? Thanks - Mike

Mike, I had a D6 9U hauled from Republic, Washington, to Penngrove CA, brought it on a trailer with a ford diesel dully! Close to the same distance, Cheaper than others bids we got. Can get the fellows info if you are interested. Tom

That is a very nice and well maintained tractor! The push braces are not all patched up from ramming into things and the trunnions are in great shape..
