Hi Mal, Cat still stocks some parts although I think Goughs now only keeps parts in the Auckland warehouse and if not there, then Melbourne and if not there, then Singapore. Piston rings are probably more easily sourced from JP Pistons in Oz - they also do pistons if you need them. Liners I don't know about but Cat can likely do some of the gaskets. Since you're talking liners, then you might be thinking head gasket and sump gasket. The head gasket may be reusable - many were from that era. Sump gaskets and others like it may be available from Cat or many folks just get a roll of gasket paper and cut them out. Where are you located in NZ? I have a Twenty Two in Masterton, a friend has a D2 in Timaru, another fellow has a good range of units north of Auckland. I also know of a #11 with the D6100 engine (3 cyl diesel) in Masterton but am not aware of any other Auto Patrols in NZ. Someone on here will know what tractors share the same engine as the #10. I'm going to guess at a Twenty Eight or something like that, but are you writing that yours has a D4400 in it? If it does, more parts are available from Cat (not liners though, I'm pretty sure)
