I have a complete pony engine from D4 7U10xxx for sale. It was running last year, but the points are dirty and did not start last time I tried it. It does have the electric start and that works fine. The carb has a new bowl I put on a maybe 3 years ago. I did have this engine torn down 10 years ago when the mag gear busted. At that time I replaced the mag, a bushing in the gear set and had the exhaust re-made and put on new belts. I also cleaned and painted everything and put in all new bolts and cleaned all the gunk out the water jackets of the heads. Asking $500. Would prefer a pick up so I do not have to ship. I am just south of Peoria, IL.

Compression tested at 75 psi dry and 90 psi with oil. Crank end play is .050 to .060. so could use some help there.
Mag is hot.

I also have all new parts, but pistons, to mostly rebuild this engine. Gaskets, bearings, valves, valve springs, valve bushings, compression rings, piston pins, locks. Close to $800 worth of parts. Asking $475 plus shipping or local pick up.

I will also be selling the pony clutch and pinion assembly. Asking $200 for that plus shipping or local pick up.

IF complete pony does not sell, I will then part it out.

Thanks,
Muzz

Do you have the starter button mounted on the starter or do you have the later starter that has a solenoid and separate starter button?

It has the starter button mounted to the starter housing, no solenoid. Thanks, Muzz
