1940 D4 7U Pony motor runs (rough) and main motor runs beautifully. steering clutches and brakes work, bottom of radiator is cracked. I have had this machine around 10 years and have used it a few times a year. I had to replace a magneto on the pony motor and reseal the tilt cylinder. Hydraulics work well with some leakage.
I have really enjoyed owning this machine but am now looking for something a bit newer with direct start. I included a picture of the bottom of the radiator and it may be possible to weld it in place with the right skills, knowledge and equipment. I am at an age that working on heavy machinery does not work for me any more. I included a picture of the serial number maybe someone can let me know the exact year. The dozer blade is 80”.
Could not post pictures, any help on that appreciated
Machine located Northern California asking $2500. link to pictures on google drive. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10-koIbLpZzAM6-Sm9A3tDXMrOt6ksbTz?usp=sharing
