I am in need of a .030 undersize front main crankshaft bearing ( end with the timing gear)
Anything anyone is willing to part with out there, I'm open to other options if anyone has suggestions.

Do you have the part number handy? I have a new one from CAT, but I believe it is for the rear, which I assume not the same? Parts book not here, I can look next week. JM

I had a machine shop measure and the crankshaft is worn to badly for a .030 undersize bearing, am now in search of a serviceable crankshaft.
Thanks

well the bearing bores are listed as 1.8200 inches so the crank would be a slight clearance on that

you may be able to speedi-sleave the crank back to a usable size it is also possible to get it built up and reground any good engine reco shop should be able to do that

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
