Looking for cylinder head for a d343 other known as 1693. going in our 988 (A). Overhauling engine will be needing cylinder packs, head gasket etc but those look to be more readily available. Radiator will also need to be rebuilt or replaced I'm told Maine radiator can rebuild but have yet to call. Also years ago tried to replace the oil cooler through Cat and got the wrong one. Plugged the bottom tubes that were worn through to work the following day and it's been that way since. Will be needing to replace that also. Engine came out of a 769 Haul truck, back in the eighties. Located in Massachusetts. Thanks for reading. Any pertinent information is welcome, I would like to learn more about the machine. I am third generation running this machine.

I have used them several times for new old stock and aftermarket parts. Very good to deal with.
4N6765 is the part number.
Your local Cat dealer still has them but they're $12,500.
