D2 on Auction - Central IL

D2 ag Cat coming up for auction next week in Lexington, IL. I don't have any experience or interest in this tractor, but do know the family and grew up with several of their kids. I thought it would maybe be of interest to someone here, especially any Illinois members due to it's pedigree. Tractor was featured in a Caterpillar Ad in 1951 and delivery photo was published in Caterpillar "The Dealer" magazine in 1950. It has been with the Payne family since delivery. I don't think it has seen much use in the past 30 years or more. It has been restored, but I haven't seen it in person to vouch for it's quality or condition. Family is aware of the history of this tractor, but my guess is the kids have more attachment to the green tractors they used in their lifetimes.
