For the past 8 years I have been listed here for babbit bearing services. As of the 1st of 2019 I have closed my shop and will no longer be in operation. I am unable to delete my ad for these services. Thank you to everyone that I have done work for in the past.

All is well with me however the need for the services I have provided has dwindled to a point that the business is no longer profitable.

Sorry to hear that Mike, we need you here in Australia, there are very few options for white metal bearings and the couple that do them, charge like it's a Government job, and take a year or more to get it done.......

Good luck with the next phase of your life.

Here is a prime example where we as a group of preservationists have not been aware of the services that were available to us. An article in the magazine would certinally been beneficial to our community. From Mike’s Facebook photo page looks like he has done very quality work. Sorry to see that he has decided to close shop! If you go to the search box above and type in "services" it will take you to an internal sticky section where that can be found. I was on here daily but seldom posted but I would look for those in the U.S. that were needing bearing work. Also some of the old timers here could direct you to a source in the group.

Mike, I am glad that I had you rebuild my 22 engine e few years ago. It was nice talking with you then.
Best wishes whatever you do.
