This is in British Columbia and I deal in and help customers sell old tractors and such. It's about 350 miles northeast of Seattle by Armstrong, BC. With scrap prices and what my customer has into it he said he needs $4,000 firm. I think he's probably has a little wiggle room and $3,500 may or may not get it bought. Maybe that is too much for what's there not sure. The good thing is they have a heavy duty machine there that can load it on any flatbed, stepdeck, etc.. I do work with shipping items and can get this to the states for $1/mile or less depending on distance. Maybe even .75 mile or something like that but it depends on distance and where too like it'd be a lot easier to go to Omaha than California I imagine or near the Interstate. This Cat 30 is missing the magneto and gas tank as you can probably see. We assume it's stuck but we just tried turning it by hand. The oil looks brand new though and the running gears and sprockets, etc. are 95% so that is good. The fenders are gone so the tag isn't there but some good people on the discussion board thinks it's a 1926-1929 based on the seat, springs and manifold. If someone knows another place the serial # is stamped let me know and we can go out and look as we have some of the numbers like on the flat areas behind the seat and the area behind the shifting levers.

The same customer in BC has a working OC-4 Oliver with Blade for $3,000 there. There is diesel in the oil and hasn't been started in a year now but it does turn over. Also in the U.S. know of a Caterpillar 50 FIFTY Gas Crawler with A-Frame Blade in WY. I need to verify if it's stuck or not but I assume it is and customer told me it has a good undercarriage. I have a couple pictures (see PICTURE HERE: and that's at $1,900. Has eternal power unit too. Sorry I didn't know I had replies. I didn't have my settings set to notify me of posts to the board so I changed that. Someone who bought the Fifty from me told me there were other messages today so sorry about not seeing them till now. I also just joined ASMOC today as didn't know there was a separate membership and magazine so I appreciate Roger for pointing that out. I somehow missed that when I signed up some years ago to post questions, etc..

I will send pictures of the Oliver here within the hour. ON the 30 I think the THIRTY price is high too. He claims he has been offered $2,000 for it for scrap so I don't know it that is true as U.S. prices currently I think are about .10 lb. and my customer there in BC was probably talking Canadian. I know $2,000 won't fly. $3,500 may fly if I take him a firm offer from someone and maybe $3,000 but I'm sure he won't go below that.

Hi,
On the Thirty we can take payment however you want. Would you be sending your own truck or picking it up? You could pay cash or bank check on pickup, you could mail a check or wire the money ahead or time or let me know what you think as we are flexible. Let me know where you're located or any questions.

Also it now looks like the Oliver OC-4 with blade is tentatively sold. And the Cat Fifty in WY is sold and paid for.

Thank you.

The people I'm helping list this for on the intenet here has lowered the price on the Cat THIRTY now before scraping to $3,400 Canadian so $3,100 U.S. Dollars. The Oliver OC-4and Cat Fifty's are now SOLD.

The OC-4 is going to Sayward BC in eastern BC so could get the Thirty over near there or on the way probably reasonable. And if anyone with room on a trailer is going from Armstrong / Vernon, BC to Sayward BC we would pay $800 Canadian to get the Oliver over there.
