Hi all. I am looking to buy some Cat Hardware. Bolts,Washers and nuts. Preferably bolts that have Cat stamped on the head. Old or new is fine. big or small sizes as well. I'm not using them on any specific piece of equipment. just using them on some projects i'm working on. anyone on here have any for sale or know a website where I could purchase some. ??? Thanks all.

There are basically 3 types of Cat .Bolts , The early Bolts just have a "C" stamped on them, fitted the early Cats next lot have like a Circle around the face , and I think it is CRL stamped inside that circle ,on the R2/D2's etc and the Later ones have the 6 lines [indicating grade 8 ] and have Cat stamped on them , there are variations of them . I buy all Cat Bolts, Nuts and Washers in most cases much Cheaper than the Local Parts Shops , That may not apply in the States but sure does where I live . Another important thing with Cat Bolts You can Buy them in Rises of 1/8 th inch Many of the others now only supply 1/4 Rises or even !/2 '.also small size Cat bolts have a Deeper head on them. You could Try a Wrecker for a Drum of Used bolts , You would get a lot of useful Bolts From that source . personably I would rather Buy New what I need . If you get a one safe Source book from Cat ,Most times You can relate Part Nos to sizes Remember to make sure You Quote 6 digits when ordering Like a T603 is now a 0T0603. LJ

Here is an older chart showing part numbers for the different size fasteners. Some of these are likely superseded, but hopefully the dealer could get you the newer part number that replaced them.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
