note that your crank is standing upright, years ,years ago was told not to store a crank in this manner as it will develope a magnetic
condition causing metallic particles to adhere, you can do an experiment by taking a round piece of stock, stand at a 45 degree angle ,with one end on the floor and pointed north ,give it a sharp blow with a hammer on opposite end,the shaft will become slightly magnetic, this then, is what crank may do.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
