Hi,

I'm looking to part with a 29 cable unit from my D8H. It had a live power shaft that ran it under the floor boards. I'm not sure on what fair market value is, but after doing a little looking around I'd start at $1000. I never used it, but the guy before me did. He said it worked, he's local, and I believe him. I took it off to put a Grace Hydraulic setup on for a scraper. I'm located just south of Des Moines, Ia.

It looks like the serial number reads 31e476

You can give me a call at 515-six8one-4619.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if this will bolt onto a D7E? Is there any hard to find parts that would keep this from working?

It will fit, got one on mine. This is a "live" control unit, uses a drive shaft off the engine accessory drive not hooked to tractor transmission shaft. This unit is a little faster than the #25 units, works better on the 180 hp tractors than 160 hp.

May fit on the D7E but the parts book does not list that application. Primarily meant for the D8 and D9.

I believe my dad got it from a contractor that removed it from an 8H.

I'd drop it down to 400. I don't need it, and id like to see someone get some use out of it. Thanks.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
