Searching for piston rings and connecting rod bearings for my pony rebuild. Any sources out there that anyone knows of.
Thought I had everything I needed and the supplier canceled my order at the last minute.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

JP pistons in South Australia make pistons and rings definitely for the D2/4, you could dig thru there web or contact them, with exchange rate should be reasonable and new parts.

The pony should be the same as any Cat D 318 engine.

Connecting rod bearings need to be .030 under and piston rings are .020 under.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
