I am winch ignorant, but would like a winch on my 955H (60A). Will a Hyster D6E winch be a simple install on my machine??

The correct winch for the 60A is a Hyster D4E. The D6 winch would be the wrong size.

Challenge would be to find one with all the controls for the 60A.

The advantage of the 60A is the range transmission has a neutral position that allows interruption of the winch drive to enable shifting of winch controls while the tractor is stationary.

Hi Team,

basically a 955 of the era was a D4 with D6 undercarriage plus all the Traxcavator assembly added.

Cheers,

Eddie B.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
