My 5j had wide pads when I got it, that thing would almost float. Nice looking tractor. Looks like it may have had a blade at one time. 10 d2s, you got me beat I had 5 or so at one time, down to just one now.

I only have one track, the other was gifted to a friend who wanted to do the same thing. Pretty sure the fire ring is staying
Definitely a good use for it after its service, all the stuff I have that is considered not useable I try to find other uses for.
The pads and chains were definitely beyond 100 percent wore out. My 5j wears 16 inch pads now and are in 50 percent range wear on pads and chains.
