I recently bought a 9U D6 that was previously owned by my family many years ago. I'm going to go thru it from head to toe, but first I need to get all of the manuals.
I was on Jensales website looking for the CCU manual. I see that they have what appears to be a parts book, but didn't see a technical/service manual for the CCU.
Maybe I missed it, or does one of the other manuals have info for adjusting the front winch? Thanks for the help.

Based on memory , CAT produced a small manual just for the operation and service of the CCU. I don’t know if reproductions are out there, but someone here will.

Correct. I have several original manuals already, but none deal with the CCU. I have seen manuals that say "parts for winches" but what I don't know is if those
manuals contain any technical information on adjustments and rebuilding the winch.

You need the "Operation And Maintenance Instructions" book for your CCU model. The are sometimes available on ebay at a reasonable price. The original manuals are much better and cheaper than the reproductions.

FYI- found and bought an original Cat cable controls manual on Ebay. I love these old books.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
