I brought this winch to fit to my d4c and going by the holes it will fit ok it just needs some new cables.
it has asian writing on it and it came off a d4e dozer.
if someone could tell me the make so I could buy a new seal and cables I would be very thankful

Nice looking winch and fair lead but I don't recognize it as US manufactured.
Unusual that there would not be a model number stamped on it somewhere.

the paint is fresh and to find a number would mean stripping the paint off if some one cannot give me a bit of a lead to where I should look, the bloke I brought it off siad his dozer (d4e) part book showed this winch in the back pages
thanks

In the US the D4E most commonly had the Hyster D4F winch but what you have is not one of those. I have several D4E Parts Books and none of them show the winch. Typically the winch parts and instructions are separate. Must be different down under😊
