3/4" shoe bolt chains are the older style chains, 7/8" shoe bolt chains are the later heavy duty fitted standard to the D7R, they have greater pin retention to stop link spread and to stop loss of oil and dry links. The 7/8" chains also take the same track shoe as the D8L and D8N/R/T.

May need to change/modify wear guides/roller guards to fit heavier chain.

Thanks fellows. That's what I thought they were. Didn't know about newer heavy chains.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
