Very nice rare barn find 1954 Cat No. 6 Trax Shovel, track loader in great shape.Per 933, 955, 977 Traxcavator
I'm helping him as much as I can and even invited him to join ACMOC. I hope he dose what a complement to the Club's knowledge base.
He's learning like I did by the seat of his pants getting a lot of stuff right but he dose seem to know his limits.

Rome, I'm not sure where the guy hangs his hat but I imagine it is within the realm of possibility it worked on the DEW line it is in the right timeline. The DEW line was operational by 1957. Every time i watch the video I see something else and get to typing so I may have missed something. In the second video it looks like it came with original tools, engine side panels, toolbox and a plethora of other goodies. He has taken my advice on the No.6, D318. Hopefully he will find his way here cuz I'm not that good with track rigs, for the life of me I have yet to find the schrader valve to inflate the 955C tracks 🤣

I think he hangs his hat near Peoria. I sent him a parts book for his 955. That No. 6 has less than 1000 hrs on it.
