I have a D6 9U, engine serial #9U 19081, fan belt is 7B-2774 a=(CAT F5211F5, is this the correct fan belt. Put it on new and it seems it needs tightened every other day, afraid I am going to run out of adjustment real soon. everything else seems to be OK, no burrs or other dings to wear belt. Any advice appreciated. thank you, Tom

7B2774 is correct up to 9U23982. Is that a genuine Cat belt or a Chinese knock off?

Thank you Old Magnet, it is a "genuine CaTerpillar from Petersen Tractor. I took another look at the adjustment, there is more room left to tighten than I thought, maybe 3-4 full turns, only need to go about 1/4 more right now. Thank you again, Tom
