G'day All. I have just acquired an old V40B, I think, but the serial number is proving elusive. The lifting spec plate that always had serial number beside the seat is long gone. It has an old 3 cylinder Perkins and the single pedal hydro static type trans. Any suggestions where it may be stamped into frame somewhere.

G'day All. I still haven't been lucky enough to find a serial number stamped anywhere, they had a few variations of these and I am trying to track down parts or service manual so I can fix a few oil leaks etc as it is a useful machine and it is slightly sentimental as it was once in a workshop I was in for a couple of years. A V40B Australia built may be a 54R or a 55R.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
