Twenty Two is finally home again

Well her she is. My grandfather sold this CAT in the late 40's early 50's (this is only a guess, my father can barely remeber my grandfather having this tractor, and he was born in 42) and she is finally home again. To stay this time.

I plane on doing a complete disasembly and restoration on her. As you can tell from the pictures I will need a great deal of time and patience to get her finished. I will no doubt be on here quite often asking questions regarding the restoration. I will keep you all informed and updated with pictures.

I like the Ice cleats, nothing like that here in California. What were the brackets on the top and bottom of the radiator used for? Looks like you are going to need another instrument panel as the bottom of yours has been cut off. - Wally

I think the prefious owner said he had some type of hand winch set up for a snow blade.

I would love to find one of my grandfathers old Allis Chalmers tractors to restore. They were all sold back in the late 1980's when he retired from farming due to health problems.
