Hi Team,
the local lube reps for The Dealer told us after they stopped making/supplying roller semi-fluid grease to simlpy keep adding and mixing in Cat 50w Transmission /Drive Train oil to ordinary grease until you get the consistency needed. It certainly is cheaper than other alternatives and works well.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

One old guy who lives near a Steam Train Museum told me he got something called Steam Head/Valve grease(?). Its in squeezable plastic bags so you can cut a corner off to squeeze it into your lubricator. Also other Farmer guys have mentioned Corn Head Roller lubricant(?). I haven't thought to ask when I stop at the farm supply but one of these days I'll need to as my supply of lube is running out.

Thank you everyone,, I got some good ideas here. One thing I have to keep in mind, this is not duty like we used to have where the tractor had to run for hours and hours maybe going 30-40 miles a day.

So, the mixing of grease is a good idea, also I'm gonna try to find some alavania. Of course it's probably increased in price also.

This is the stuff I use. It fulfills the requirements of roller lube and is not ridiculously priced. Check with you rlocal fuel supplier. http://www.hwpetro.com/_fileCabinet/TexacoData/Multifak-HD.pdf

B4D2.....that is what I am using as well. I got lucky and found a distributor that had a bucket on the shelf and told me I could have it for $10.00 to get it off his shelf. Pretty good deal I thought.... 😊

The corn head grease you mentioned is available from John Deere dealers in a tube.

I think it is about $3.50 per tube. I use it. It works fine in the rollers. It a very thin soapy grease.

You may have to shop dealers. If they don't stock it they may want you to order a whole case. Most of the large dealers who sell a lot of farm machinery have it.
